Upcoming Events

This event will be held at the Saskatoon Club, 417 21st St. East, starting at 5:00 PM.
Did you know that 1 in 3 people experience workplace bullying and 82% of those that do, eventually quit their jobs?
In an age where we want to keep our great employees, we need to talk about this.
We invite you to attend an evening of information, panel presentations, and roundtable discussion on workplace bullying from a variety of perspectives. While primary targets are women in their 40s, this is a topic that affects all genders and ages.
Also importantly, 71% of bullying is done by a person of authority. The impact on health, productivity, and long term wellness is immense although many of us do not have the facts or knowledge on what it is, how it works and how to stop it.
This evening will be of interest to anyone who has or is experiencing bullying, business owners or managers who have workplace bullies in their employ or wish to prevent it from occurring, union representatives, friends of people experiencing bullying, academics, employees and policy makers.
We have the power to make a difference in our own situations or workplaces or affect change on a larger scale but we first need to talk about it.
With us will be speakers from a variety of areas, including the Saskatchewan government, who will be explaining the new legislation that addresses this behaviour in the workplace.
A light lunch, coffee and tea will be served. A cash bar will be available.
Registration is available at: Picatic.
