Regular Meeting Information
Business and Professional Women's Club Saskatoon Inc. meets the first Tuesday of each month - except for January when the meeting is held on the second Tuesday - at the Hilton Garden Inn Saskatoon Downtown.
Please confirm your attendance. If you would like to join us, please contact Jos Herman prior to noon on Friday.
Due to hotel policy if you reserve a seat, and are unable to attend, you will be invoiced. Please feel free to send another person in your place if your plans change.
Meet and greet is at 5:15, dinner is at 5:45. Dinner fees: $25 for members, $30 for non-members.

International Women's Day (IWD) is a day to reflect on issues of significance to women and bring these issues to the attention of others. It is a day to appreciate the achievements that women have made in their pursuit of equality.

Silent Auction
The Business and Professional Women's Saskatoon Club's Silent Auction is an annual fund raiser for our education bursary given to a mature woman returning to school to better her life. Our bursary has supported less fortunate women in our community for over 60 years! And we count on women like you to help make this happen by supporting our silent auction.

BPW Saskatoon Inc. advances issues affecting women in the workplace by responding to government briefs on request, participating in provincial forums and committees, and networking with local, provincial and national women's groups.

Our speakers for this evening are Kim Newransky and Allison Marshall from the YWCA. They will be speaking about Violence Against Women and the services of the YWCA. The YWCA Crisis Shelter has a Wish List of needed items. These are items that they are often called upon or would like to provide to their clients and don't always have enough of nor the budget to provide. If you can bring items on this YWCA Wish List, we will see that the items get to the YWCA.
November's meeting is also a Guest Night. There will be a few short presentations by members describing their BPW experiences. Come join us and learn more about BPW! |

Deanna Herman and Mona Holmlund of the Saskatoon Women's Calendar Collective will be talking about the Herstory calendar. They will be sharing biographies of some of the women who have been featured in Herstory. Mona is also a co-author of "Inspiring Women: A Celebration of Herstory".
